My First Flight.... The Scary One...

Our journey started on October 18, 2018 around 12 pm. We went to IGI Airport also known as Indira Gandhi International Airport. This airport is situated in New Delhi, India.

It was my first time to travel in an airplane, i was excited as well as scared as i always searched for Airplane Crashes on youtube. It might be funny for you but i know what were my feelings at that time. I was too scared but you have to show your expressions like a cool guy. It was difficult for me but some how i managed.

The worst thing that happened was we got our flight to Kaula Lampur delayed by 5 Hours. Earlier it was at 11 PM but now it was set to 4 am. Every passenger was bussy in talking to airlines staff from somewhere i heared that the flight was delayed because it has some technical issue in it and pilot got that plane emergency landed on some airport and now technical guys are fixing the plane. Everybody was perparing themselves to go to the hotel arranged by airline company. But i was thinking the aircraft already have some technical issue and in case if the engineers forgot some wire works i will lose my life. Oh god save me.

Now, we were about to leave the hotel(arranged by airline company to spend time of flight delay) and again the heart beat was on the rocks. We reached Airport got our boarding passes and went to the waiting area and now we were sitting in the waiting area and i was continously watching airplane outside the window. It was a really nice view as i am a aviation fan from my childhood.

It was anounced all the passengers for Kaula Lampur flight can board the aircraft. It was a scary time for me and somehow i managed to get inside the plane got my seat. Seat was just next to the wings that means yes i was able to see the engines and in many movies we saw plane crashes after engine caught fire. Again i was scared but but but only i know i am scared my expressions were like 'ya... everything is cool'. After taxing plane reached the runway and now the time for takeoff has come. As you all know it was my first flight and First Take off. Pilot set all engines to full throttle and aircraft was gaining speed rapidly. The sound of engines , Rubbers tyres and bumps were making me feel like 'oh my god i am gone now....' but expressions like nothing happened. So, this is how we took off from New Delhi.

Now, we were in the air with continous increase in altitude and i was looking outside towards the land and engines. In my brain it was like 'thank god... engines are not catching fire...' after that i slept till we got landed in Malasyia.

After my first flight i was very happy not because i overcome my scariness of boarding a flight, it was because i was on land again and safe again. This happiness was of a little time as we had a connecting flight in 3 hours to Bali, Indonesia.

Somehow i managed through the second flight and we landed at Bali airport. I would like to mention here that there is some issue with the runway of that airport. It not a smooth one. Now, we reached there and i got money exchanged from airport. Taxi was waiting for us at the airport it was around 7pm. Around 8pm we reached the hotel.
